POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth and achieving ambitious unit sales targets across Cloudoon's complete product portfolio. This high-performance role requires a results-oriented professional who can independently prospect, close large deals, and consistently exceed sales quotas. The ideal candidate thrives in a commission-driven environment and possesses the drive to do whatever it takes (within ethical boundaries) to secure clients and maximize revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Performance & Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit targets

  • Maintain consistent sales performance metrics and KPIs

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify high-value leads across SME and enterprise segments

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with continuous lead generation

  • Conduct cold outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities

  • Develop strategic partnerships and referral networks

  • Penetrate new market segments and geographic territories

Sales Process Management

  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Sales experience in B2B technology, SaaS, cloud computing, or related industries

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets

  • Experience managing high-volume sales transactions

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base Salary: Kes 10,000 retainer

Commission Structure: Uncapped commission on all sales exceeding base product targets

  • 15% of total sales exceeding base target

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer with deep, hands-on expertise in both PHP and native WordPress development to join our engineering team. You are someone who builds from the ground up — writing solid PHP and leveraging core WordPress APIs (hooks, filters, the Loop, custom post types, the WP REST API, and the block editor) rather than relying solely on page builders or third-party plugins. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications for our clients and internal platforms, working closely with designers, cloud engineers, and the product team to deliver performant, secure, and scalable solutions hosted on Cloudoon's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Wordpress websites using popular editors such as Elementor, Gutenberg, Wp Bakery etc

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch to meet product and client requirements.

• Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX wireframes into fully functional, pixel-perfect WordPress sites.

• Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and performance

• Create Wordpress SEO friendly pages for Wordpress websites 

• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services (payment gateways, CRMs, email platforms, etc.) into WordPress projects.

• Manage WordPress deployments, migrations, and updates across staging and production environments on Cloudoon's cloud platform.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional WordPress development experience with a strong emphasis on custom theme and plugin development using native WordPress APIs — not just drag-and-drop builders.

• Deep proficiency in PHP (OOP, design patterns, PSR standards) — you write production-quality PHP, not just WordPress snippets.

• Mastery of native WordPress development: actions/filters hook system, custom post types and taxonomies, meta boxes, settings API, transients API, and the WP_Query object.

• Solid experience building custom Gutenberg blocks using block.json, register_block_type(), and React/JSX.

•  Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.

•  Experience with page builders and frameworks such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or Divi.
