Job Location: Juja, Kenya
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us maintain our software products and Kubernetes infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python and some experience working with Docker and Kubernetes. A desire to learn more on the role is also a key requirement.
Responsibilities:
Write and maintain high-quality Python code
Work with other developers to design and implement new features
Debug and troubleshoot code
Work with product managers to understand and implement user requirements
Stay up-to-date on the latest Python technologies
Manage kubernetes clusters (Installations, Upgrading services and Ensuring proper resources availability)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of experience with Python development
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
Experience with web development frameworks, such as Django or Flask
Experience with testing and debugging software
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High desire to learn moreThe ideal candidate should be willing to provide onsite support and be available outside regular working hours to address any urgent deliverables, issues or downtimes.
